This term classes 1 and 2 are learning through an ‘under the sea’ theme. Today we began reading a story about the Blue Whale, the largest living creature on our planet. The Blue Whale can measure up to a staggering 30 metres in length. We discovered that it is the same length as a truck, a digger, a boat, a car, a bicycle, a motorcycle, a van and a tractor – all lined up. We’ve been outside this morning measuring this on the yard and couldn’t believe it was all of the children together holding hands!
