Behaviour Management

Rules, Rewards and Consequences

Classroom Rules
1Listen to instructions.
2Do not interrupt when someone else is talking.
3Put up your hand to ask and answer questions.
4Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
5Work quietly and carefully.
6Remember to ask an adult before leaving the classroom.
7Always walk in the classroom and around the school.

 

Rewards
1Smiley faces.
2Stars/stickers.
3Sent to Mr Cuthbertson for reward.
4Toys and games after work is finished.
5Certificates
6Other special rewards include: extra playtime, bring your own toys, class party.

 

Consequences
1Warning from the teacher.
2Second warning.
3Work on your own.
4Miss part or all of golden time.
5Stay in each playtime for a day and inform parents.
6Sent to Mr Cuthbertson
7Stay in for a few days or a week.
8Letter/telephone call to parents, asking them to come into school to discuss the problem.
9Behaviour diary.
10Cannot take part in special extra events.
