On Monday our ‘living eggs’ arrived in our Reception classes. The children have watched and waited very patiently and today when they arrived at school they discovered six chicks in the incubator! Throughout the day two more have hatched. Ideas for names were placed into a basket and randomly chosen by the children.

We are all enjoying learning lots of facts about how the chicks grow and hatch and we can’t wait to hold them once they are stronger and are allowed out of the incubator.
