School Admissions

Cockton Hill Infants’ School has an admission number of 60 pupils each year.

Starting school is a very important milestone in your child’s life. Children come into our school form many different Early Years/nursery settings children may start school in September 2024 if they were born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020.

If you are unable to apply online you can contact the school office and we will help you with your application.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

The majority of Children with Special Educational Needs can be supported at any infants’ school including Early Years children. Infant provision is also available in certain Special Schools. Support for individual pupils is determined by Durham Local Authority through Education, Health and Care Assessment.
