Class 6 children have been working in the Wildlife Area exploring the natural habitats of many living minibeasts. We talked about giving nature a home and how we should not harm living creatures. The children enjoyed working in the mud kitchen and some of the children enjoyed picking the apples which are now ripe and ready to cook. They know that it is autumn time and how this affects trees, we are making a reading tree in school using recycled materials and the children have used autumn coloured paper to make collage letters for Harvest Festival.
