Before we visited Durham Cathedral, we looked at pictures and identified things we would see when we were on the guided tour. We were learning about St Cuthbert and how he is an important figure in the history of this special place. Some of the children made stained glass windows as we would see many of these on the trip. The children now recognise the Rose window and The Sanctuary Door Knocker amongst other things. All the children enjoyed the preparation work ready for their trip.
