Firstly we watched a video by the engineers at Dyson. Engineering is all about problem solving and researching and developing ideas for new products and ways of improving existing ones. Engineers usually begin their ideas by building prototypes using cardboard, when cardboard is used in the right way it can be very strong. We used cardboard and newspapers to begin the challenge. Some of our designs were more successful than others but everyone was highly engaged and everyone had a brilliant afternoon. Excellent team work Class 6 – well done!
