During the first half term after the Christmas holidays a small group of Year 2 children have worked with Mr Raine to improve their cycling skills while he completes his Level 2 Coaching award with British Cycling. The children practised pedalling, breaking and cornering skills and were able to put these together to work to improve their performance around a short circuit on the playground. Over the rest of the year other opportunities will be available for children to work with Mr Raine to develop cycling within the school.
