The children used a range of materials to see which was the most buoyant. One table used plastercine, one table used tin foil, one table used sponges and one table used lego. The boat designs were great and it was a lot of fun launching the finished products. The first thing was to see if the boats floated then we tested how much weight they would hold. The results showed that the winners were the tin foil boats, light waterproof and perfect for boat construction. Well done boat builders.
