We have been looking at famous artists and have been painting in their style. The art of Jackson Pollock was flicky and fun compared to the straight lines and limited colours of Mondrian. The children loved looking at Van Gogh’s paintings and many others. We asked, “What would you think about if you were sitting having your portrait painted?” The children were careful in their observations and have made a fabulous art gallery in class 6. Art is the best!
