We have a new Eco-committee for 2013-14. The Representatives are from Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Miss Bainbridge is our school governor representative and Mr Raw our school caretaker helps us to build and make things. In spring term we will invite the children from Foundation Stage to help us make decisions. We had our first meeting on the 10th September and chatted about what their new role would involve. We discussed the 9 areas of the eco school programme and how we are already doing lots of good things to help the environment. We talked about how we would like to improve our school grounds and the children had lots of ideas and were excited about the future. A few of the children are already involved in helping animals by adopting snow leopards and they were keen to talk about their concern for these rare animals. We will all strive to make positive improvements to the school this year and the children will lead with decision making.
