To help us to add and take away in Numeracy we often use a number line. We have been learning about how we can use the number line carefully and which way we need to count if we are adding or taking away.

This term in Literacy we have been looking at the story of the Owl Babies. Here we are acting out the story of the Owl Babies using puppets and performing the story to our friends. We have done lots of work about the story and even found out some facts about real owls!

In History Class 3 have been thinking about the changes in our local area. Mr Raine took us outside where we looked around the grounds to find pictures taken of the school 5 years ago. We were all very suprised to see how much our school grounds and building have changed! We are very lucky to have such nice things to play with now!

Class 3 felt extremely luck to have been invited to Bishop Auckland College to take part in ‘Hero for a Day’. We all had a fantastic time and got to try lots of new and exciting activities and we were even allowed to use the climbing wall! It was very tall but some of us made it all the way to the top!
